Facebook group owner of Netflix Streaming Movies needed a cool cover photo to represent the group.
Images had to suggest the Netflix brand in color, logotype and style. Below themes were: classic movie red featuring various streaming players, an after-dark special and a high tech streaming look.

Beyond The Runway is a new subsidiary brand of FATA (Florida Aviation Trade Association).
It is an advocacy program that targets the non=aviation community in order to raise awareness of aviation benefits for the local community, government, conservationists, businesses and more.
The Beyond The Runway logo had to suggest an airplane, a runway, accessibility, friendliness, and the optional tagline.
The logo clearly suggests a simplified image of an airplane taking off and flying above the runway. The green runway also translates as land, community and the swoosh represents speed.
This project was created for “Harap Alb,” a Romanian folklore translated by English teacher V. Georgescu. The project required a full color book cover and black and white chapter titles. For the covers, I depicted the main characters of the story including major locations depicted in the scenery. I conceptualized the style of the illustration to be a mixture between rough and hand-drawn illustrations with child-like simplicity. The rough feel relates to the age of the folklore and the time period it was created in and it also relates to Eastern European Orthodox religious art featuring strong outlines, simple details and bright colors. Each chapter title was created to look like a rough pencil drawing to add to the stark monotone contrast.

For the Color Run, a group of Navy wives wanted a custom t-shirt design.
The Color Run is a 5K run in which colors are the main theme. For every 1K mark, volunteers douse runners with buckets and packets of color powder and each station has a different color. Runners are highly encouraged to dress wildly and have a great time.
Majority of runners sign up in a group. The USS NEW group is composed of Navy wives. USS is the traditional acronym for United States Ship, which is followed by the ship’s name, in this case being: NEW. NEW stands for Navy Everett Wives.
*The acronym concept was already established when I was approached for the design.
I felt an accurate depiction of the running trail would be a great conversation topic and maybe even a map for a fellow runner to use.
Team Nimitz FRG is a family readiness group that aids Navy families with information, support and socializing. I was asked to refresh the old logo and rebrand the FRG to give it a solid and individual visual. While the project was eventually not accepted due to legalities, the rebranding campaign was well received.
While designing for the USS Nimitz FRG, I was asked to design the 2011 USS Nimitz Family Holiday Party. The party was semi formal and was open to both single sailors and families. I was inspired to create a winter wonderland theme expressing both cheerfulness and formality.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from LSU in fall of 2010. Our university’s art gallery graciously let the designers and artists graduating to open an exhibition for our graduation featuring our work. I designed the invitational postcard.
Cat Haven is a non profit cat shelter in La. For my design thesis class, I worked with this company in rebranding their company. Focus was directed towards photography of cats and was aided by whimsical illustrations. My solution to earning more income was creating a masked gala as a fundraiser. The cat mask would also double as the invitation. Inexpensive yet unique.
